Who we are
Welcome to our barn, where you'll meet our passionate trainer/instructor who combines years of experience with a genuine love for teaching. Whether you or your horse are a seasoned rider or just starting out, Brittnee is here to guide you every step of the way towards achieving your equestrian dreams.
Ever since I was a child, my dream was to work with horses. My father was passionate about the Calvary, and many of my heroes shared a similar equestrian path. Growing up amidst the picturesque painted hills of Pendleton, Oregon, I was surrounded by the esteemed Pendleton Round-Up horses, broncs, and bulls bucking in the arena, all of which fueled little Brittnee’s aspirations of working with horses.
As time passed, my horsemanship evolved to blend show artistry with the principles of natural horsemanship. The delicate balance and control in show horsemanship, coupled with the harmony that comes from understanding a horse, creates a partnership capable of remarkable achievements. Whether it's guiding our horse with precision or managing the intense stimuli that reenactments can provoke, a true horseperson and a finely-tuned horse move as one. This is the journey I cherish and love to share with others in various settings.
I have been fortunate to have numerous opportunities to refine my horsemanship skills. Listing names would only lead to unintentionally omitting some deserving individuals. My experience spans various disciplines, regions, and philosophies, and I am grateful to all who have shared their horsemanship journeys with me. It’s important to mention that the teachings of Donna Patterson and Shardon Lewis, along with many who learned from them, have significantly shaped my approach.
